Meet Geoff Stone
Founder & Owner
Geoff Stone founded
Stone Heating and Air in 2011 after spending over 20 years in the HVAC and plumbing trades. A licensed master technician and
EPA-certified HVAC professional, Geoff started the company with a simple goal: bring honesty, transparency, and real professionalism back to an industry too often filled with shortcuts and upsells.
Born and raised in Newton, MA, Geoff studied mechanical systems at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he earned his certification in HVAC system design and plumbing systems integration. After years working for large mechanical contractors, he decided it was time to build something local — and better.
To this day, Geoff leads training sessions for every new technician who joins the team. He believes quality starts with mentorship, not just manuals.
Outside of work, Geoff is active in the
Newton Community Services Committee and donates time and resources to local housing repair initiatives for veterans and seniors. He also sponsors annual HVAC system donations for families in need across Middlesex County.
Whether it’s a complex system install or a simple service call, Geoff’s approach is always the same: get it done right the first time, and treat people fairly.
